On the 22d of August, at 3 p.m., a procession and a rally on the occasion of the Russian Federation National Flag Day were held. Participants representing different enterprises and public organizations of the city and region met near the monument to Bogdan Khitrovo, on the square of 100-anniversary of V.I. Lenin birthday, and directed to the square of Lenin. Even heavy rain and ‘swashes’ under the feet of participants didn’t frighten them. The rally was inaugurated by Alexander P. Pinkov, First Deputy Chairman of Ulyanovsk region Government. FRPC OJSC ‘RPA ‘Mars’ was represented by active young men and girls who differed from the crowd and attracted the attention of attenders by their white caps and T-shirts with the Company log.
