On the 4th of 2012, a business visit was paid to our Company attended by Dmitry O. Rogozin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation (Chairman of the RF Government Military and Industrial Committee), and by Yury I. Borisov, First Deputy Chairman of the Military and Industrial Committee.

Mr. Rogozin has visited a number of companies, including FRPC OJSC ‘RPA ‘Mars’. He would like to see one of the leading industrial enterprises of Ulyanovsk, which has its own niche of works within the works on revival of the domestic shipbuilding.

Taking into account the undertime, Mr. Rogozin has only one hour to visit the Company. He was shown the major installations specific to the unique character of RPA ‘Mars’. Mr. Rogozin saw the test bench, particularly, the one of the base C2 system for surface ships. He asked a lot of questions on prospects for surface-ship building. Then, the guests directed to the manufacturing department and to the museum of the Company.

Dmitry O. Rogozin and Yury I. Borisov were mainly concerned with the Company participation in the State Armaments Program, state of affairs with the contracts fulfillment within the framework of the State Procurement. The questions touched upon both the internal and external work sectors of the Company. There was a substantial talk on the nearest prospect for a new ship design. The guests were interested in the military and technical cooperation of our Company with other countries, notably, what is the main benefit from this cooperation for the Company and for the RF Navy. During the visit, we were questioned about our state of affairs, production workload, development prospects, use of our production capabilities both in the interests of the Ministry of Defence and the civil industry.

At the end of the visit, Mr. Rogozin thanked everybody for a hearty reception and wished further achievements.
