Combat Actions and Operations Simulation System "AZOV-E"

Designed to train Сommand, С2 officers of command posts and headquarters of groups and units of the Navy to improve their professional skills, ensure automation of theoretical, practice and simulator training of specialists.



SYSTEM STRUCTURE:

1. The following theoretical courses are offered:
  • - state-of-the-art information technologies used in the Navy;
  • - strategy of the Navy;
  • - tactics for submarines, surface ships, naval aviation and shore-based troops;
  • - combat and operational training of the Navy;
  • - state-of-the-art weapons, naval systems and facilities;
  • - informatics;
  • - foundations of management theory;
  • - computer circuit engineering;
  • - man-machine interface;
  • - architecture of computer systems;
  • - methods and facilities for protection of computer data;
  • - methods and facilities for information security of C2 systems;
  • - automation of control of fleet forces;
  • - foundations of communications system theory;
  • - theory of compurter-aided control;
  • - theory of decision-making;
  • - research of operations;
  • - artificial intelligence systems.
2. The following hands-on courses are offered:
  • - studying of military geographical characteristics of operational responsibility zone;
  • - studying of operational and tactical engagement of available forces and facilities;
  • - studying of actual control system;
  • - studying of techniques for evaluation of enemy forces;
  • - studying of basis of combat use of state-of-the-art heterogenous naval forces.
3. The following simulator training courses are offered:
  • - search and rescue operations at sea;
  • - defense of own naval communications;
  • - protection of economic and fishery zones against unauthorized actions;
  • - prevention of illegal transportations;
  • - protection of merchant shipping against terrorism and armed attacks on vessels;
  • - supervision and monitoring over observance of international agreements concerning the law of the sea;
  • - suppression of undocumented immigration ;
  • - prevention of environment pollution and monitoring over ecological situation; observations of weather;
  • - protection of hydraulic installations;
  • - arrest of those who cross frontiers illegally and who violate navigation regulations;
  • - assistance to vessels in distress;
  • - maritime reconnaissance;
  • - monitoring over movement of foreign vessels within territorial waters;
  • - monitoring of foreign fishery in fishery zone;
  • - guard of ports and ships;
  • - mine countermeasures;
  • - surveillance of sea and air situation in responsibility zones;
  • - patrolling;
  • - organization of coastal anti-landing defense;
  • - deployment of forces to target area;
  • - search, tracking and destroying of submarine;
  • - destroying of enemy surface forces;
  • - destroying of enemy ASW forces ;
  • - monitoring over violations of sea transportations;
  • - air cover of own forces at sea and deployment sites against air attacks;
  • - destroying of enemy ground-based installations;
  • - landing operations of own forces;
  • - assistance to land forces in littoral directions;
  • - training in combat readiness ;
  • - staff accounting;
  • - development and transmission of combat documents to forces;
  • - training of processes of information interaction of C2 staff of CPs and headquarters during solution of basic tasks of planning and control.
